The ethics committee shall serve as a support to the Board and Membership in the interpretation of the ASCA Ethical Standards for School Counselors and serve in the role as both a leader and consultant regarding the application of the standards and ethical practice for professional school counselors.

Specific responsibilities of Ethics Committee Chair include the following.

a.       Provide leadership in promoting ASCA's Ethical Standards

b.      Submit Leadership Reports to the WSCA Board of Directors when requested

c.       Write articles for The WSCA School Counselor Insightsand other publications

d.      Assist membership in understanding ethical practices
